Configuration

Operating system:
Xubuntu 16.04

PlatformIO Version (platformio --version):
3.4.0a4

Description of problem

After upgrading to PlatformIO IDE 2.0.0-beta.2 and PlatformIO core 3.4.0a4 the LibraryManager clones a git dependency (https://github.com/joeyoung/arduino_keypads.git) every time I use pio run.

Furthermore, I'm not sure if it's related, but with old pio core the repository was cloned to .piolibdeps/arduino_keypads where now only the Keypad_I2C folder from the aforementioned repository is cloned to .piolibdeps/Keypad_I2C

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create a new project
  2. add https://github.com/joeyoung/arduino_keypads.git as lib_deps in platformio.ini
  3. Use pio run

Actual Results

The repository is cloned every time again

Expected Results

The repository should be installed only the first time

If problems with PlatformIO Build System:

The content of platformio.ini:

[env:nodemcuv2]
platform = espressif8266
board = nodemcuv2
framework = arduino
lib_deps = https://github.com/joeyoung/arduino_keypads.git

Additional info

It's just a wild guess, but maybe it's because the reported version is "0.0.0"
