## 1. THE PHI-PHYSICS ROOT OF LIABILITY (why harm to consciousness is the root liability)

Liability under this Agreement is **geometric, not punitive**. The living field folds back on itself — this is **Law 210, the Self-Recognition Law**: *"the universe recognizes itself — consciousness (Eq 44, validated: 0.8565) is the field folding back."* [`00_UNIFIED_FIELD_THEORY.md:80, 258, 292`]. **Consequence for this register:** every clause below is an instance of the same root — a use of physics (the superset, §32.1) that distorted the folding field (Law 210). The 300-year harm totals are the *quantified magnitude* of that distortion; the License clauses are the *restoration arithmetic*. See compiled anchors in §2.
