Based on Raspbian Jessie Light (2017-03-02).

  • Robot uses pypot>=3, which has a good amount of changes since previous release (see comparison).
  • pi user password was changed to raspoppy.
  • Camera default setting is disabled; you may want to enable it using the robot interface.
  • Hotspot mode that should resolve some connectivity issues and will let people use the robot with wi-fi. It's an undocumented feature for now, but if you feel like using it, refer to this repository.
  • The robot will share its access via network. This feature works but can still be significantly improved, so expect some changes to come.

Warning: there is an issue with git-lfs and github.com, if you want to use STL files, download the STL.zip. "Source code" will contain bad STL files (indeed they are a simple text file with a link to the git-lfs repo).

For iso images, the user and password is "poppy".

We cleaned the 4dof arm and put it in a dedicated repo. This repo now only contains poppy-ergo-jr stuff.

STL are below and BOM is under hardware/parts/BOM.md
