This package looks awesome and I'd like to use it in my day to day! Though, I'm confused about its position in the css world. I see that there are a bunch of browsers that already support this with prefixing (, so autoprefixer should take care of those, but what about edge/ie? I'm also noticing that it was a part of ( but I don't see it in post-css-env ( What's the status with this?

Welp, to answer my own question, after further research, according to (, this repo was removed in favor of postcss-color-mod-function ( And looking at that repo, it seems that it's been deprecated.

color-mod() has been removed from the draft of Color Module Level 4 specification.

Sooo, I guess we won't see this functionality in css anytime soon :(
