I was unable to open the gitter chat room advertised in this window, to ask a question, so I am asking here.

My question: Is it possible to connect to postgre db using Unix socket instead TCP port? I havn't found such option in available documentation.

Thank you.

I'd like this feature too. I am using Google Cloud Postgres (their hosted offering) and the default way to do development against a DB is with their "Cloud SQL proxy", and the best way to use the proxy is to run a single instance, and let clients access it via unix domain socket. I was surprised that this didn't work.
