1) Environment

  • PrimeFaces version: 7.0RC3
  • Does it work on the newest released PrimeFaces version? Version? No.
  • Application server + version: Tomcat 9.0
  • Affected browsers: Firefox 65.0.1

2) Expected behavior

When using selectionMode="multiple" readonlyInput="true" inline="true" the datepicker should be rendered at all time (without manual input field) just giving the list of date values to the backbean.

3) Actual behavior

When updating (=refreshing) the datepicker AFTER having selected at least one value, the datepicker disappears.

4) Steps to reproduce

Use a datepicker with selectionMode="multiple" readonlyInput="true" inline="true" and ajax update, then select at least one value. Then refresh page.

5) Sample XHTML

<p:datePicker id="..." value="..."
selectionMode="multiple" readonlyInput="true" inline="true">
<p:ajax event="dateSelect" />

6) Sample bean

public void setTermine(List<Date> termine) {
	this.termine = termine;
public List<Date> getTermine() {
	return termine;
