Why is heading done like this in PVector #3511

Why is heading like this:

  public float heading() {
    float angle = (float) Math.atan2(-y, x);
    return -1*angle;
  }

This gives the same results:

  public float heading() {
    return (float) Math.atan2(y, x);
  }
