I assume this is because it's firing on keyTyped(), but it seems like we should be able to do something more elegant than this. Even suppressing ctrl-space in JavaEditor would be a better option.

Might be as simple has adding it to handleTyped() inside JavaInputHandler.

I've seen this on Windows so I assume it's a problem on Linux as well, but OS X doesn't seem to have the problem.
