On Chapter 9.7 under removing objects the following step needs to take into account branches

$ git log --pretty=oneline -- git.tbz2
da3f30d019005479c99eb4c3406225613985a1db oops - removed large tarball
6df764092f3e7c8f5f94cbe08ee5cf42e92a0289 added git tarball

The previous command git rev-list --objects --all | grep 7a9eb2fb can find objects not in the master branch. To fix this, the example could be changed to

$ git log --pretty=oneline --branches -- git.tbz2
da3f30d019005479c99eb4c3406225613985a1db oops - removed large tarball
6df764092f3e7c8f5f94cbe08ee5cf42e92a0289 added git tarball

@jnavila jnavila Look for a commit referencing a file in all branches
As pointed by @mutewinter, the command must look for the changes
to the file in all branches.
