You can also sign your tags with a PGP signature using GnuPG, [...]



Line(911): If you run git show on that tag, you can see your GPG signature attached to it:

Line(919): -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----

Line(920): Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (Darwin)


A signature can be PGP or GPG. Both are generic names for a similar product.

GPG is also GnuPG

This is just a confusing thing in general. I don't know that I can do much to make it less confusing.
