The logic for the fix from this issue:
https://github.com/project-trident/trident-core/issues/28

needs to be applied to the start-trident-installer script.
On my hardware RC3 attempts to use the vesa driver with the nVidia VGA.

Trident 12.18 Release correctly used the SCFB driver with an Optimus laptop with EFI-boot enabled.
