This is part of the old TrueOS documentation (https://github.com/project-trident/trident-docs/blob/master/introducing.md), reworked for Project Trident as an introductory article. Please look over the text and make suggestions for additions/removals.
Fix a couple links and remove a couple mentions of some TrueOS things.
Add page-header stuff for hugo.
Add another hyperlink to the sponsors page.
