You mentioned in this comment [1] a fork that kept pinned tabs in the right column. I assume that is the nyordanov fork [2]. That fork is now as far as I now abandoned so it is quite a bit behind the photodiode repo [3], and the photodiode repo in turn seems dormant. It already has an issue open for this request, so I thought I'd make the issue explicit here as well, even though you've already mentioned it in another issue.

I've been working on this on my own but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a 1v1 transfer over, the pinned tabs are all mis-aligned and don't properly stay in the right column. That's what I've been working on in my spare time tho so I am working on it.

Hello,
As pinned tab are always shown whatever group is displayed, in the "panorama group" windows they might be all in a dedicated, read only group ?
Or simply, just hide them ?
