My Tasks from Evolution are not being imported. I am using Debian Wheezy. I am using Time Tracker 2.91.3 and Evolution 3.4.4. Do I need a pluging for Evolution?

I'm experiencing this issue as well. From what I can tell, lib-ecal, the library supporting queries to an evolution calendar, requires the authentication parameters for access to that calendar.

Hamster can access tasks in Evolution's local to-do list as there is no authentication required, but if you are trying to access the tasks stored in a remote calendar that requires authentication, part of the software chain expects auth credentials and/or won't act on remote calendars even when you have already authenticated through Evolution.

I haven't totally solved this problem yet, and I may not be able to - I think it may be an issue related to the GNOME2->3 transition.

Incidentally, I should point out (from my observations) that Hamster initially seeks tasks from whichever calendar is the default task list (task lists in evolution are basically calendars). If you set the "On this computer / Personal" task list as your default, Hamster should pick up those tasks in that list.

The problem is that setting a remote calendar as the default task list in Evolution doesn't work in the same way. Try starting hamster from a terminal in this situation and you'll see an "Auth Required" type error message.
