Thanks for this suggestion. I'm not sure we should be advocating the Prometheus status apis as a primary interface, they're more for debugging. We don't have such features in the expression browser either, leaving that to Grafana. |

not a big fan of auto refresh. a bit annoying especially when you try to copy something from the page. Don't see a big problem to hit refresh when you expect that something should have changed. |

you could have a checkbox like "Enable query history" in the Graph page... but anyway it's not having success, close it :) |

Proposal
Use case. Why is this important?
The alert page is static and does not reflect the current status of the alerts, a page refresh is needed to see alert active at the moment.
Instead of recurring to other tricks (like auto-refresh browser plugins), we could simply add a meta tag on the html template of the alert page.
One line change will improve the alert page effectiveness.
