  1. Update Display Settings admin to use config/locale lang files

    randomecho committed Dec 8, 2013
    - Don't need to say Display count settings are "by default"
unless it can be changed elsewhere in admin

    - Remove "my" as this should reflect settings for whole blog

    - FeedBurner includes capital B
  2. More concise User registration help note explanation [ci skip]

    randomecho committed Dec 8, 2013

  1. Update profile edit form to use config/locale language files

    randomecho committed Dec 3, 2013
    - Reduce wording in Notification settings section and
makes the section label relate more to the checkboxes

    - Contact - Biography should be above all other fields
as that content describes a person more than links do

    - Reduce use of "Your" as section help tip already
      talks to the current user

  1. Admin login is looking for en.yml keys for placeholder text

    randomecho committed Oct 3, 2013
English i18n YAML file is missing keys found in the
French. As a result, the admin login screen is showing
HTML errors from placeholder text that does not translate.

  1. Fix lists, links in Bootstrap theme README [ci skip]

    randomecho committed Sep 17, 2013
    - Sub-lists need indent to properly show on README render
    - Update the heading numbers to match TOC
    - Updates links to Bootstrap after they moved from Twitter
    - List under Views section should only list two items,
move the other bullets out into separate Exceptions list
  2. Update links on README and general copyedits [ci skip]

    randomecho committed Sep 17, 2013
    - Should be called "Simplified Chinese" in language list
    - Change link to clone Publify to use the HTTPS version
as the git link does not generate a link under Markdown
    - Basic theme list should only list three items, the extra
bit about screenshots serves better, neater as addendum.
    - Link to FAQ hosted on GitHub wiki has moved

  1. Add background highlight to currently active theme in admin

    randomecho committed Feb 23, 2013
Instead of a small bit of italic text, mark out the current theme
in use with an alert DIV. Clearer, quick to see if you have many
    themes to choose from.

Tidy up the if-else block uses as the contents are mostly different
between inactive choices and the active one.

"Use this theme" sounded more direct and action packed than
"Choose this theme" for the button.

Cleans up language file definitions orphaned by removal of
references to Typogarden and installing themes in

  1. Include tip on how to add single and multi-word tags to posts

    randomecho committed Feb 17, 2013
Clearly detail how to properly separate multiple tags on a post
by the use of commas. Follows convention mentioned in help section
    of SEO::Titles.

If a user needs to add multi-word tag, then it should also tell
them how to do so by use of double quotes. Otherwise they may
not expect to see it broken up into individual words as spaces
    also can separate tags.

  1. Hide Display Name option choices in profile edit if blank

    randomecho committed Jan 28, 2013
It's possible the user name options for setting Display Name
are blank or empty strings so let's check for that in addition
to if they're set in the first place.
  2. Show fallback account name on header bar when logged in admin

    randomecho committed Jan 28, 2013
By default the admin header displays (where X is the nickname)

      "Logged in as X"

If the account does not have a nickname set it will be blank
    and instead just show

      "Logged in as "

Do not assume nickname has been chosen yet and instead fallback
to either name, or if that is blank, login username. The last
    is never blank.

  1. Seed language files with SEO definitions

    randomecho committed Jan 22, 2013
Warning about turning on dofollow setting in SEO Feedback
should be more cautionary in tone than casual.
  2. Various typos, grammar fixes, title casing and sentence forms

    randomecho committed Jan 22, 2013
    - "Add another attachment" should just be sentence cased
    - Removed extra full stop on dashboard welcome page
    - Typo, name of blogware, needs capital T as a proper noun
    - Same for Amazon.com, but also include the .com part
    - Match the button names on Sidebar design instructions

  1. Fix dashboard link to display all of Your Posts

    randomecho committed Jan 19, 2013
Quick link on dashboard to show all your posts was linking to
    the following URL:

        http://localhost:3000/admin/content?search=search[user_id]%3D1

"search" is expected to be a hash, not a normal query
string key. Link needs instead to send:

        http://localhost:3000/admin/content?search[user_id]=1

Now matches the expected search filter calls also
used in "Manage articles" admin section.

    Fixes #110
  2. Make article dashboard filters send correct search params

    randomecho committed Jan 19, 2013
Category, author and published date filters on Article dashboard
    were not correctly filtering.

Updates to send as part of search hash instead of GET query as
the latter was still showing "all" for each respective filter.

This now matches up with article state (published, draft, etc.)
and will restrict listings as expected.

    - Link to contributors/committers as shown on GitHub

  1. Add translations for new article filter defaults

    randomecho committed Jan 13, 2013
Guessed from parsing through Google Translate.

Have left those with no confidence in getting
a close to correct translation as blanks.

Hopefully that means the rest are valid.

    - Danish - French
    - German - Italian
    - Lithuanian - Norwegian
    - Polish - Romanian
    - Simple Chinese - Spanish (Mexican)
  2. More explicit filter cue for drop downs in article section

    randomecho committed Jan 13, 2013
Since default of article filters are for all types, might be better
to label what the current state of drop down filter is instead of
    a "Please select".

This matches up with the "All articles" filter.
