The following code creates extra spaces which is makes links look bad:
Code:
a(href="login.html") Login
| |
a(href="signup.html") Signup
Output:
<a href="login.html">Login

</a>|
<a href="signup.html">Signup</a>

I guess now it looks ok :)

I've accidentally closed it, how do we reopen?

ah I see. yeah, the whitespace thing is a bit of an issue, as far as what would be the ideal solution

I guess ideally the newline after a tag, could be prepended to the following text, instead of within the tag

ctulek commented Dec 5, 2010

What are the use cases that you would like to have a new line?

Contributor

it doesn't have to be a newline, a space would be fine but I agree that it should be outside of the tag. if you wrote what you have here, you would expect whitespace between the first anchor and the pipe, so a newline is fine for that but it does need to be moved

yes, is it easy to add? I've read the code once but forget things so I need to re-read to suggest a fix/change.
