This commit updates the project to be compatible with Puppet 8. It updates the Gemfile, the metadata.json, and the .rubocop.yml files to comply with Puppet 8 requirements.

This commit updates the project to be compatible with Puppet 8. It updates the Gemfile, the metadata.json, and the .rubocop.yml files to comply with Puppet 8 requirements. It also contains multiple code autocorrections to comply with Rubocop expectations.
