Rebinding update key #2

Very good mode. That is exactly what I was looking for.

I would add the following keybinding in the documentation:

(define-key ibuffer-mode-map (kbd "g") 'ibuffer-vc-set-filter-groups-by-vc-root)

This is because, when I start ibuffer I might not have opened one file per repository I am interested in. On top of that, you have ibuffer-update already incorporated in ibuffer-vc-set-filter-groups-by-vc-root

And to play nice with autoload I would actually put:

(eval-after-load "ibuffer-vc"
    '(define-key ibuffer-mode-map (kbd "g") 'ibuffer-vc-set-filter-groups-by-vc-root))

I've also noticed this issue myself, and even found that sometimes the vc-based filter groups get their orders changed by some internal quirk of ibuffer, which is a bit annoying.

It's probably safer to advise the update function rather than replace it, because the vc groups are just one of several possible ways to group buffers.

When I get a bit of time, I'll look into making this work better.

Closing -- due to later changes, I don't think this is still an issue. Please re-open if I'm wrong.
