The pyGBot project uses git, which you can probably tell from the fact that you're reading this on GitHub. Our general git workflow is a fork/pull-request one, combined with a hint of nvie's Git Flow.

On the main repository (, there are two primary branches: dev is for ongoing development work, and master represents the current production/release version of the codebase. If you want to contribute to pyGBot, please fork from the dev branch and issue pull requests against that. The project admins will take care of the release process, including the merge from dev into master.

Please drop us (chaos95 or Dritz) a line via GitHub if you want any more information about these topics. Enjoy!
