See pydata/xarray#704.

According to their plan the xray and xarray namespaces will coexist for a little while, but the former will be deprecated as of v0.7. Once that release is out, we will push the rename.to users on our end.

  • xarray 0.7 released
  • Rename xray to xarray in all imports
  • Update setup.py
  • Update conda recipe
  • Update unit tests
  • Update CI configuration files
