be it as they do. but can anyone explain me why semantic shouldn't be an adverb or an adjective in conjunction with version?

@funkyfuture I have no idea. Sometimes english words just happen, with little rhyme or reason to them.
Reminds me of an oft-referenced favorite quote of mine:
"There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation and naming things."
