Using pygame-1.9.2pre from August 18, only one test fails:

FAIL: FontTypeTest.test_set_bold

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\pygame\tests\font_test.py", line 347, in test_set_bold
self.failIf(f.get_bold())
AssertionError: None

This is because pygame's default font, freesansbold.ttf, is already bold.

Original comment by Lenard Lindstrom (Bitbucket: llindstrom, GitHub: llindstrom):

I resolved this as issue #106 for Windows XP. It involved a single bit modification to //freesansbold.ttf//.

Duplicate of #106.
