Since Discord is quite popular alternative for chatting it will be nice to make a plugin that allows bridging two channels.

For example:
#IRC on Discord and specific channel on IRC that have this bot.

Requirements:

  • Discord API key
  • Ability to list online people on IRC
  • Ability to list people on Discord (with marks near online nicknames)
  • Ability to mention people both sides

@Abdur-rahmaanJ @wupewu Are there any documents that I can read up to get started?

@Abdur-rahmaanJ @wupewu @sridk i don't know the status of the issue, but it wouldn't be wise for us to push the API key into the repository as we don't need someone stealing it. But otherwise, I'm assigning it to @sridk
