Issues I noticed (Issue 1 causes the most grief and I believe 3 is not really an issue - I thought it was because of 1):

1.) The message list for each day is limited to 10 messages, if there are more than 10 messages, only the first 10 are shown and no scrollbar appears (as a result of this I thought my thread didn't work and posted it again, later finding both in the old read-only pyjamas-dev)

2.) When logging in through OpenID on Firefox (3.6.3 on WinXP) for the first time, the screen asks you to "Allow" to pull profile and email data from gmail. However, since the "Allow" button is behind the front-most transparent layer it can't be pressed in Firefox, I had to login through IE first (where I can press is through the layer) and then go back to Firefox.

3.) [No longer an issue, side-effect of issue #1, which I realized after posting the thread] When posting using OpenID (Firefox on WinXP) the post does not appear, I did notice the following error at the bottom of the page after posting: "JavaScript Error: key is undefined at line number 21494. Please inform webmaster." The reason I was trying to use OpenID is since the new app seems to no longer pull my name from my profile when using gmail.com login directly.

4.) When using IE7, the layers appear screwed up (the window that shows messages for the day is shrunk so that right border is at about half-way point of my browser window, the actual message is offset off-screen such that it's bottom border is aligned with top border of the window that shows messages for the day) - screenshot attached: mailapp_ie.png

5.) When reloading the page (both IE and FF), the app logs me out

6.) When posting through the app, the resulting message does not seem to wrap text and later appears all in one line when viewed through the app

7.) Mail App does not seem to pull data (first name, last name) from gmail.com login or OpenID, even though the data is publicly available in Profile

thank you for these. 1) is because you use the next / prev at the top of the page. i'll have to take a look at the scrollpanel issue, that's a major bug.
