Hello,

I'm aware darcs is not as popular as bzr, hg, git.., but it would be nice to have support for it as well (it's getting better and quicker)...

Sincerely,
Gour

Hi, I'm attaching my first cut at a solution: I'm new to hg and bitbucket, and
I'm missing some bit to be able to push my changeset on
http://bitbucket.org/lele/pip, sorry :-|

Anyway, this surely needs some more tweaks, and a bit of pip-fu to be
qualitatively acceptable.

The basic functionality is in place, with two tests. It lacks an
implementation for the switch functionality, I still miss a way of doing it
differently from a wipe... I'll try to complete that.

Other than that, the darcs backend recognizes either a patch hash or a tag
name in the URL: you can extract both a particular version with "pip
darcs+http://somewhere/product/@20011010-....#egg=product" or any
existing tag with "pip darcs+http://somewhere/product/@Some
tag#egg=product".

That's it for now, ciao, lele.

Going to close this, we've not had much ask for it and darcs doesn't seem to be a very popular system. I think if we were to do this it'd come in the form of making the vcs support pluggable instead.
