Distutils reuses build/ dirs that may contain wrong shebang paths, this can derail running tests #178

If you "setup.py develop" or "setup.py install" a pip checkout into one virtualenv, and then try to run tests, distutils may reuse the existing build/ dir that has hardcoded shebang paths for the previous virtualenv, causing the tests to fail.

Pip probably ought to clean up this build/ dir.

This may already be fixed in Dave Abrahams' branch, haven't checked.
