I'm at a loss. After an update to the latest dev version of pyrocms, my site is now (after some debugging) not passing custom session user data.

I add a userdata to the $this->session

redirect()

and the userdata is gone on the new page.

Could any recent update have affected Sessions?

thanks,

so apparently the problem was I was passing too big of an array that it was passing the 4kb cookie size limit as noted here: http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/libraries/sessions.html

"Note: Cookies can only hold 4KB of data, so be careful not to exceed the capacity. The encryption process in particular produces a longer data string than the original so keep careful track of how much data you are storing."
