Gemfile?

I'm getting this error

/var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/thor-0.16.0/lib/thor/core_ext/file_binary_read.rb:5:in `initialize': No such file or directory - /home/ajkochanowicz/Documents/[app]/Gemfile

Why is it looking for a gemfile in my application? It's not built in Ruby.

The description of this project claims it is the "Linux version of" pow. Pow does not require a directory contains a ruby project.
