Hi relekang,

I really apreciate if python-thumbnails reactivate the support to python2.

I really like this app because the simplicity and I use it at least in 2 projects. Also, i think most of the django sites today are already in python2, and django supports it.

May I do a PR to revert the commit that drops the p2 support?

Thank you!!

It will be ok to revert the commit, however, I don't know if I have time to invest in maintaining the python 2 version. We'll try and see how it goes.

I'm looking for a good alternative to sorl-thumbnail and I founded this lib that seems to be very good, actually many of my projects are still on Python 2.7, then...

Over the next two weeks I will get this project up to speed again, fix the test suite on master etc. After that is done we can discuss how to re-add python 2 support. That said I am not sure I can maintain python 2 support, but I will not work against it. Anyone up for helping out with the python 2 support or anything else please say hi in the gitter channel.
