Hi All,

Just upgraded to 4.1.6 and it appears on Mac if you have the Dark ppearance settings in Mojave that the menu bar appears blank. only fix is to change the appearance back to light mode.

To use light mode just for qB:

defaults write org.qbittorrent.qBittorrent NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool yes

Just upgraded to 4.1.6 and when qBittorrent starts, a dialog "Allow incoming connections" always pops up. Is there a fix to that, as it's pretty annoying.

@locojohn I’ve been having that issue for months, ever since I disallowed qBittorrent in my system firewall (I only want it to go through my VPN’s network interface). I hit “Deny” every time and it works properly through the VPN. If there’s a fix, I’d love to hear it.

@nloveladyallen I allow incoming connections to qBittorrent on my firewall and I do not use VPN and still the program asks each time if incoming connections should be allowed. Mojave user here.

@dougcotler Terminal.

@locojohn @nloveladyallen You should consider opening a new issue for this. But the reason this happens is because there is a security issue with qbit.

tccd: Failed to copy signing info for 7066, responsible for file:///Applications/qbittorrent.app/Contents/MacOS/qbittorrent: #-67062: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67062 "(null)"

Which gives you the general tccd: macOS error -67062 as well.

Open another app where you have already declared a firewall rule and do not get prompted. You'll notice you won't get the above error or get prompted about whether to Deny or Allow the app through the firewall.

@locojohn @nloveladyallen the firewall issue was already reported in #3885. There is an end-user workaround for it, but qBittorrent already decided long ago they will not address that issue themselves.
