qBittorrent version and Operating System:

qBittorrent 3.3.16, Arch Linux x86_64 running kernel 4.13.11

If on linux, libtorrent and Qt version:

Qt 5.9.1, libtorrent 1.1.4.0

What is the problem:

qBittorrent often crashes while adding torrent/magnet link - no matter from where, same behavior happens on both in-app search engine and adding from external link. Download dialog is active, and after some time app just crashes.

What is the expected behavior:

Torrent info is loaded (folder etc.), user is available to choose what to download and continue downloading.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start qBittorrent
  2. Search for torrent from in app search or try to open torrent/magnet from external source
  3. App crash.

Extra info(if any):

Captured crash log:

Catching signal: SIGSEGV
