qBittorrent version and Operating System

qBittorrent: v4.0.0
OS: Windows 10

What is the problem

If you start qBittorrent by double clicking a .torrent file, QBT_PROFILE will be considered a relative path to that .torrent file instead of relative to qBittorrent.exe

What is the expected behavior

QBT_PROFILE should always be relative to qBittorrent.exe

Steps to reproduce

  1. Configure QBT_PROFILE with relative path
  2. If open, exit qBittorrent
  3. Double click any .torrent file so it starts qBittorrent
  4. qBittorrent will try to start using a profile in a relative path to that .torrent file

Extra info(if any)

Manually starting qBittorrent.exe works properly.

This issue caused 45 of my torrents to fail because I get errors like this: 2018.05.05 01:35 - An I/O error occurred, '〇〇' paused. 〇〇 open (../../../../Music/Pop\___\___.mp3) error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

Using latest version 4.0.4

  • My application directory is at D:\Portable\qBittorrent.
  • When I go to D:\Portable\qBittorrent\..\..\..\..\, it redirects me to Desktop.
