v4.0.3 Windows 10

  1. torrent is completed so left to be seeding or paused and given status completed.
  2. torrent is on an external harddrive
  3. remove the external harddrive
  4. open qbittorrent
  5. torrents that were complete or seeding start to download and do so to the default location

What is the expected behavior

That it would not redownload the file and just report error

This bug also messed up my ebook. same thing external driver removed. restart qbittorrent a week later, but I had my ebook plugged in. ebook had the same drive letter as the external HDD now. qbittorrent starts to redownload everything filling it up and wasting my ratios.

Came here to confirm or report the same issue.
If downloaded data moved or deleted from HDD it'll be redownloaded again instead of reporting an error, forcing users to manually stop or delete torrents from the list.
