qBittorrent version and Operating System

qBt 4.0.3 on Windows 10 Pro

What is the problem

Downloads and uploads slow down and stall. I am seeding 1000 torrents and it seems this causes the problem, because I never had this before. When I restart my client for a short time the uploads are back to normal speeds but often after like 10 minutes the speeds drops eventually to just a couple of bytes per second. Setting all torrents to force resume of in normal mode doesn't influence it. Both uploads and downloads are affected.

What is the expected behavior

No slow down

Steps to reproduce

I think it is related to seeding many torrents

What is your disk usage when this is happening?
Are you using an HDD or SSD? What model?
Does this also happen on older verions in similar circumstances?
Is your system x86 or x64?

My system is x64. Harddisk is a USB 3.0 Western Digital external drive. Not only after restarting qBt the speeds seem to recover, but also after a fresh reboot the the speeds stay high for a long time. I don't see anything strange in the resource manager.

In hindsight I think the issue was my NAS was using all bandwidth and had nothing to do with qBittorrent. So this can be closed.
