Changes since v3.2.2

  • UUIDs listed in the hosts config option now count as Crowd Control administrators
  • A new config option called admin-required has been added which restricts usage of the /account command to CC admins (defaults to false)
  • 🐛 All of the "Summon Minecart with XYZ" effects have been fixed
  • 🐛 The plugin will now load even if errors are encountered while registering effects
  • 🐛 java-crowd-control has been updated to v3.4.0 which accounts for breaking changes introduced by an upcoming Crowd Control update
  • 🐛 (New since v3.2.3-rc2) Fixed an error that was displayed when the plugin initialized on a Paper 1.19 server. The error was harmless but it was scary-looking so it has been scared away :)

I know that publishing a release candidate for a minor patch is a little silly but this update is urgent and I've not yet finished/published the library update that this release depends on 😛

This release fixes a peculiar error that some users were experiencing when attempting to run the plugin on the recently released Paper for 1.18.2. It also adds some mitigations to allow the plugin to continue operation even if the component experiences similar issues in the future.

The Sponge v7 plugin has not been changed but its jar has been provided for convenience.

Support for the latest vanilla version of Minecraft is cool and all, but sometimes you want to play some Pixelmon with some friends. If only you could use Crowd Control while doing so...

Introducing Sponge v7 support for Minecraft Forge 1.12.2! Now you can use Crowd Control alongside all of your Minecraft 1.12.2 mods and even use it in your single-player worlds if you wanted to (though this is not necessarily recommended as configuring the plugin is a bit tricky).

On top of this, tons of new effects have been added, along with big updates to various commands. The full changelog can be found here.

As always, setup instructions can be found in the repository's README.md.

After almost half a year in development, per-streamer effects are finally here. Streamers are now able to receive only the effects that have been purchased for them by their viewers. Instructions for setting this up can be found in the project's README file.

The original client mode is now considered legacy, as it will not be supported by the Crowd Control application. It can still be manually used by creating a CCPAK file using the Crowd Control SDK.
