From the OpenAPI Spec v2 definition of Response Object:

schema field: A definition of the response structure. It can be a primitive, an array or an object. If this field does not exist, it means no content is returned as part of the response.

I.e. if schema field is not present, no body should be returned as part of response. Swagger module instead silently ignores any body if schema is not present.
