We will have new options in the near future like Maven/Gradle, Quarkus version, and maybe some others. We need to keep in mind that we can't have too many options as it would make the UX too complex.

Thus, I guess you understand that we need to be smart in the selection of options we provide, could you detail a bit how this would benefit the developers more than some other options?

I am not saying it's not a good idea, just making sure it deserves its place ✌️

I understand what you mean, I was thinking to have it in the drop-down menu. If you check start.spring.io you'll see that they have a drop-down menu called options where they offer.

A big advantage of having it? Well, in fact, this option is not a really big win in terms of developer experience, but it is always nice to offer some basic options like Maven/Gradle, Quarkus version or JDK.

Of course, it is just my opinion, but offer some pure Java options will be nice.
