New page does not work

I am following the example to create a new page on the website and things do not work as expected. Here is what it appears:

I copied and paste your example in your guide for creating a new page. No deviation from that. It works only if I create a new page naming it "About". For any other name the page looks as in the image I have attached

I modified the _quarto.yml file according to this code:

Are the talks.qmd file you added having a title ? What is inside the file ?

Yes but did you create talks.qmd with some content ?

The configuration example shows how to add a file in the navbar, but the file should exist to be included in the output. Does it exists ? What is the log printing when doing quarto render ?

The YAML is using "file" instead of "path" (current key).
This is clearly a "support" issue for a user that deleted their account.
