Use cover as Twitter image for Quarto books by default?

Could the cover image be used by default as image for Quarto books?
And if one could input alternative text #1543 could it be used as image-alt?

@maelle Just to clarify, you mean that if someone links to the book page from twitter, we should offer the book's image and image-alt as the "teaser" image in the tweet. That's a great idea.

In https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-for-websites/cards/overview/summary-card-with-large-image I refer to

• twitter:image
• and twitter:image:alt

So it's a matter of adding metadata to the head of each page :-)

For details on how to resolve this, check out open graph's docs, which should have sufficient info to resolve the preview card issue on twitter, fb, stack overflow, community, etc.

As mentioned above, just adding a default image would resolve this.
