Show Quarto version info in rendered document

We could embed this on comments or metadata across formats. It seems like a good idea, and could help track down issues we see in the wild.

I see that you can run quarto --version from the CLI and get the version but not sure if it's possible to run a Quarto specific command within a qmd file.

If I could show this info then I believe I could have a completely reproducible environment.

You can run quarto::quarto_version() inside an R chunk or inline block. I've used this successfully in a few projects. From there, it's up to you to place it where you prefer.

If you look at the source, you can see a method to run quarto terminal functions: system2(quarto_bin, "--version", stdout = TRUE)
