Not for advertised consumption, but
quarto dev-call make-ast-diagram hello.md hello.htmlproduces an HTML file with an interactive diagram for the Pandoc AST.This is pretty incomplete. For example, it doesn't do anything special with Quarto's custom AST nodes.
Still, it can be useful to explain how the AST works in a teaching context.
