The scrolling in the preview pane could be improved when a song size extends the size of the preview pane (and thus Q shows a vertical scrollbar at the right of the preview pane). When I (mouse) scroll down such a song, with the mouse positioned over the preview pane, the text/label alignment seems to get confused. Also, moving the vertical scrollbar has no effect. When I (mouse) click in the pane, the alignment is restored, at least for the moment. Note: remove the extension .txt from 'rename scrolling in preview pane.qsch.txt', as github doesn't like .qsch.

Unfortunately at this moment I can only test with the CI which I downloaded on 17-07. The actual CI (crossplatform install) on my W64: does download and does install, but doesn't start-up. The quelea-debuglog.txt isn't updated. Could this be related to the order in which the Quelea components are generated? (you have a new tool/method for this? please correct me if I'm wrong on this ..) At least, I encountered this before.

The issue is seen in both 2018.1 stable and CI 17-07, on different hardware platforms.

Ok, thanks. We'll take a look. Does the CI fail for you when you download the x64 release specifically as well? Could be something else we need to fix...

In the "quelea-CI-UNSTABLE-x64-windows-install.exe" the text/label alignment does not get confused.
Also the vertical scroll bar works as aspected.

Note:
My current AV-program gets confused when the x64 installer runs. It aborts the installation and removes the file. I can only install it with the AV temporarely shut off. That's why I switched over to crossplatform in the past.

Great - it sounds like it's fixed then. Are you happy for me to close this?

Unfortunately a lot of AV software gets very tetchy about unsigned exes, especially ones with recent date stamps - there's not really a lot we can do about this I'm afraid.

Found a workaround: made an exclusion for "quelea-CI-UNSTABLE-x64-windows-install.exe" in the AV-settings. Now the AV is no longer hunting for Quelea(s) and the installation finishes without termination.

Did also a test with "jre-10.0.2_windows-x64_bin" + latest "quelea-CI-UNSTABLE-crossplatform-install.jar": scrolling in preview pane works as aspected. Issue can be closed.

I just downloaded and installed the latest : quelea-CI-UNSTABLE-x64-windows-install
(to see if #44 is also an issue in this version)

I noticed that this issue "scrolling in preview pane #27" occurs again.
And also noticed that this x64-win installer uses an older java version? 8?

Somewhere I read (can't remember the details anymore) that the Q development is going back to java 8?
Could this be some side-effect?

Yup, the move back to 8 is unfortunate but necessary due to incompatibilities with snapcraft, module difficulties and (being frank), the backwards incompatible nature of some parts of Java 11. This means that we may have some bugs like this re-emerge until the state of Java >11 improves somewhat. Unfortunate, but just the way things are I'm afraid.
