Currently it is possible to map a numeric field through method registerNumeric(int size, int digits, Class<?> javaType) stating your exact size: integer and decimal.

The problem is that there are plenty of combinations that prevent the creation of a more generic mapping rule for decimal numbers.

Thus, it was suggested by Timo be possible to map a range. I imagine that is something like:

registerNumeric (beginSize int, int endSize, beginDigits int, int endDigits, Class <?> javaType)
