The current new user plugin experience is pretty lousy.
(1) After the first launch setup wizard stuff is done, I opened QS Preferences panel
(2) [Reset Preferences] -- years ago I did try a really old 10.5 version of QS, some of those prefs might still be hanging around in my ~/Library
(3) Plugins tab --> All Plugins
Actual behavior:
"All plugins" list contained only the 8 recommended plugins
Expected behavior:
"All plugins" list should refresh automatically
(or after prompting the user if you are paranoid)
Impact:
My initial though was "Dammit, since the transition from blacktree, nothing is compatible anymore"
This nearly put me off for good. As a unix guy the articles mentioning "append to text file" were what got me interested in QS again, so the first thing I wanted to do was find the "Append Text to File..." plugin (action)

...of course my step "(2)" (reset prefs) should not be relevant to this bug, but I include it for completeness in case that triggered some weird edge case
