Localized actions can't be called #1440
Comments
You could try switching the input method in the command prefs to Chinese, but I see your problem. I'm not sure if there's anything we can do with this, but it's something we can look into |
I would rather only use English command to use QS. If I have to switch to Chinese input method, it's no more quick for silver. If this is not able or hard to fix, maybe keeping actions not to be translated is better IMO. Can we have an option to select language in application? Thus I can use the latest version without the issue. Now I am using the Beta version 71. Btw, the localization applied in version 1.0 is not the latest one, which is roughly translated and not approved. I have submitted whole the refined translation in transfex few weeks ago, please check it out, thanks!! |
Thanks, we will update them as soon as we can (the next release)!
You can already to this, see On 27 March 2013 15:11, Commandor notifications@github.com wrote:

Thanks for the trick 👍 |
FYI, found a free utility that can help to select the language for individual application. |
Find the same problem today, I think localized action is a problem here because if I use translated action it will be hard to select. The reason is: I need first switch IME into Chinese and then type Pinyin, which is usually longer than corresponding English word. Further more, QS will not dynamically change the action as I'm typing, I need to input the whole action in Pinyin format and they select corresponding Chinese word. But then comes another problem: To select a Chinese word I can use space to quickly select the first candidate word (which in most case will be correct) but QS will recognize space as part of the action and will not accept the candidate word in IME. If this happed, I need to re-type this action all over again. This whole process is really not "quick", I hope at least we can use English to call an action. |
This should be fixed. 应该已经修好了,看 #2594 |
For example, Chinese localized actions can't be called with English letters.
I remember that happened once for the applications which has localized names.
Thanks.
