QS should automatically move focus to the 2nd pane after performing certain actions or grabbing selections with the Cmd-G or Cmd-Esc shortcuts.

certain actions = any action with displaysResult set to true in the property list

Would need to make the displayResult method also simulate a tab, if possible

I was thinking the tab key must call some method, so we just call that method. Maybe around QSInterfaceController.m:490?

I’ll look at this one since it’s controlled by the same method involved in #282 and #283

So I can do this (and I have), but like I’ve said, it should be a preference which is less easy.

Also, if the user chooses not to send focus to the second pane (the historical behavior), they will still run into #283, which I’m having a hard time tracking down.
