TextMate ranker prevents results in 3rd pane

I was trying out the TextMate string ranker and noticed that there are no results in the third pane when there should be.

For instance, File ⇥ Open With… should list applications in the 3rd pane, Text ⇥ Find With… should list search engines, etc.

Instead, the results list in the 3rd pane is empty and all you can do is go into text entry mode.

Taking this one over. But shouldn't it be filed against the plugin repo? Or should I make the step to create its own repo?

BTW the problem is that the ranker returns -1 for the empty string abbreviation and that score is ignored obviously. Taking the default rankers ignore value of 0.9 solves it.

We had a discussion a while back about where issues should go. We decided to file them all on the main repo and not Plugins.

Plug-in issues obviously should go on the other repository, and that’s where I’d like them to go, but in the end I gave up because most users opening new issues won’t know where the problem originates and will file them on the application’s repo anyway.

Plus, when / if we have a repo for each plugin it's going to be pretty difficult to manage!
Howard's mentioned this, so it's an ancient bug from what I know:

However there are reported problems with matching things in the third pane such as when you use the Open With... action or the Email to... action. You may find that no results match in the third pane.
