Hopefully it'll work and stop the complaining from now on :)

Quicksilver only has this problem if you open the "About" panel, right? In any case, if this fixes it, good. I'll see if it works for Abracadabra, too, since that's definitely forcing the good GPU to run all the time.

Yeah I think so.

The comments on that Apple Docs page say that the discrete GPU will still be powered up if the integrated one can't handle the processing. So it still might not work for Abracadabra

The about window no longer requires the nVidia card. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to make a difference for Abracadabra.

Yep, probably because of what the docs say. At least it's a good improvement.
