Original issue 1284 created by thedanyes on 2013-11-04T05:21:35.000Z:

Currently, when I select a genre, artist, or album in the paned browser, I have to scroll back up to the top of that column in order to select 'All' to reset that filter. It would be nice to be able to click the heading of that column to reset that column's selection back to 'All'. I'm running 2.6.2.

In the current development version, <ctrl+a> scrolls to and selects 'All'. Would this be OK?

Thank you for your reply. I haven't yet been able to retrieve the latest package from the Quod Libet Ubuntu unstable ppa site yet (something about "Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lazka/dumpingplace/ubuntu/dists/raring/Release.gpg Could not connect to ppa.launchpad.net:80 (91.189.95.83), connection timed out").

I'll comment as soon as I'm able to try this on the latest version.

Tested with the latest packaged version (3.0.-1). The behavior with ctrl+a seems pretty similar to the behavior in 2.6.2. I still think my suggestion is a good idea. It's nice to have both a keyboard and a mouse alternative, and I find the way the paned browser works, it's best navigated with a mouse.

I like the idea of a mouse gesture, but would single-click interfere with DnD support (Issue #1256)? Double-click would be another option in that case.
